District Chairman 5810 RYLA Program

Dana Maclinson was part of the original founding committee for district 5810 RYLA back in 1991 and has served as the district chairman of the RYLA program for the past 30 years, as well as the camp’s activities director in the early years of the program before taking on the role of the camp director.     

Dana was instrumental in helping start Rotary’s RYLA International Committee and served as the North American Representative for the committee during the first years of the program.

 He also was able to chair two International RYLA programs. The 2001 RYLA Convention was held in San Antonio (the first international program) and then again in 2005 during Rotary’s centennial convention in Chicago.
