The Frisco RoughRiders are the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers. Founded in 2003, the club competes in the eight-team Texas League. Through the franchise's first 17 years, over 170 former Riders players have gone on to reach the Major Leagues. The RoughRiders call beautiful Riders Field home, where they led all of Double-A in attendance for 15 years-straight seasons through 2019.
Jake McMillen, Group Sales Executive, and Zach Bigley, Broadcaster and Manager of Media Development, will join us to share updates on the 2024 season.

Scholarship Program Planning
Special meeting, 2/20/24, 6:00pm
Each year McKinney Sunrise grants well over $50,000 in scholarships to area students, primarily through the McKinney Education Foundation. With recent changes to the MEF program, and a changing membership to our club, it's time to revisit our vision for our scholarship giving and determine the best path for future giving. Please join the Board at a special meeting as we begin the discussion, and stay for the Board meeting that follows. Attendance at these meetings will count as an attendance make-up credit.
Food Drive Service Project
This month Meals on Wheels Collin County is restocking their pantry with non-perishable food items. Items needed most include: canned tuna, chicken, soups, vegetables and fruits; dried pasta, rice, peanut butter, cereal and crackers.
Please add a few extra items to your grocery order and bring them to our meeting on 2/28/24. We will collect the items and deliver them to MOWCC. All members are encouraged to participate and to share this food drive with friends and neighbors.
Public Image Director Needed
for 2024-2025 Term
Interested in getting more involved with our club? We are in need of a member to serve as Public Image Director for the 2024-2025 Rotary year. This position is responsible for updating our club website, managing the club's social media, promoting our projects and events, and ensuring we are using our club and Rotary logos properly and consistently. Rotary District 5810 has a wealth of resources available to assist this position so no prior experience is needed, just a desire to help promote our club.
