Livingstone International University has a mission of “Transforming Africa through a Quality Christ-Centered education.” LIU is in Mbale Uganda and has an active Rotaract Club where the students believe in Service above self. With degree programs including Business Administration, Education, IT, Communications & Media, as well as Christian Ministry LIU is preparing students to become change agents in their culture, with the goal of rising above generations of poverty and corruption.
Barry Williams is the Senior Director of Development for LIU and has a passion to see students become everything that they were created to be. He has the task of sharing the mission of LIU across the US and partnering individuals and groups with the important mission of Livingstone. He is married and has four children. He is a Rotarian from Sulphur Ok and believes that Livingstone’s mission of a quality Christ-Centered education is the answer for East Africa.
