1910 N. Stonebridge Drive, McKinney. Wednesday Morning 7:30AM. Remember please do not arrive before 7:15am so the staff has time to prepare for us. See you there.
Come join us Wednesday morning as we come together for breakfast and fellowship together. This week's speaker will be
Amber Cotton.
Amber Cotten has lived in McKinney for almost 10 years with her husband Jeff and their children Katelyn and Colt, in 9th and 5th grade respectively. Amber attended the University of Alabama where she studied advertising and marketing. Her son Colt was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 4 and from that point forward Amber has become a true advocate on his behalf. She is extremely involved with JDRF, the world’s largest nonprofit funder of Type 1 Diabetes. She’s also an advocate for the largest Type 1 Diabetic camp in the world, Camp Sweeney, which has hosted campers from all over the United States and over 10 countries for over 70 years! And is located right here in Whitesboro, Texas! Amber’s ultimate goal through all of her advocacy is for Colt to one day say, “remember when I used to have Type 1 Diabetes.”

When asked how I am doing, far too often my go to answer it "busy". With all the blessings I have in life, I was reminded this weekend that I need to slow down and enjoy them. Hope you all had a chance to slow down and enjoy life's blessings.
