Program This Week
Four-Way Speech Contest - Corona Rotary

Join us at our meeting this Wednesday for our annual Four Way Test Speech Contest. This district-wide event is a competition for high school students, organized by Rotary clubs, where participants create and deliver a speech illustrating the principles of Rotary's Four Way Test, focusing on ethical behavior.

The Four Way Test is a set of ethical guidelines created by Rotarian Herbert J. Taylor in 1932. It asks: "Of the things we think, say or do:
Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?"

The purpose of the contest is to foster ethical behavior in everyday life and business, to promote critical thinking and ethical decision-making, to develop public speaking and leadership skills, and to encourage students to make the world a better place.
