The McKinney Sunset Rotary Club is a satellite of McKinney Sunrise Rotary Club. If you have a “heart for service”, join us at a future meeting. The Sunset club meets on the first Thursday of each month at the Hampton Inn, 2008 N. Central Expressway, at 5:30 PM for a program, and third Thursdays for a Happy Hour at 5:30 PM at a local pub or restaurant. Stephen Barotta is the presiding Chair. For any of you that has vehicle registration, titling, or need to renew your disability placards, rest easy Governor Abbott has extended the deadline. So stay home and continue to take the suggested precautions. (Don't forget you can still renew online, just see my earlier post for information.)
The program for the May 7 meeting at the Hampton Inn will include five non-profit organizations to briefly tell about their activities in the community.

I really liked this quote. All of us have scars from times of trouble, but that does not mean that we can not still add color to this world. Also a good reminder not to think others can not be of value because of their pasts.
