Bruce R. Heller, Board Member of ShelterBoxUSA

Our program speaker for Wednesday, October 31, 2018, is Bruce R. Heller, a board member for ShelterBox USA. Bruce is an architect, a real estate broker and is the current President of Rotary Club of Allen Sunrise. (His club meets at the same time as ours, so he is giving his time to meet with McKinney Sunrise Rotary Club!) Since July 2001, he has been President of JaRyCo Development LLC, Allen, TX, and has a long list of architectural and development work for other companies in Texas. He was awarded a Bachelor of Architectural Studies, University of Illinois, Champaign Urbana campus, in 1979

His list of credits for his work as an architect and developer as well as his community service in Allen and for ShelterBoxUSA, are impressive.

2018 Year-end donations are welcomed by our club members to the McKinney Sunrise Foundation. You can designate the direction of the donation and is tax deductible.
The donation basket this month goes to the ShelterBox USA so please bring extra cash/checks to support this great cause. In November it will go to Wheelchair International.
The recent hurricanes and earthquakes throughout North America, Caribbean and Asia have placed a tremendous responsibility on disaster teams to provide basic services for those who have been affected. A crucial basic service is ShelterBoxUSA to provide temporary shelter for those who have lost their homes and everything! Please plan to attend the McKinney Sunrise Rotary Club meeting on Wednesday, October 31, to hear Bruce Heller, Board Member for ShelterBoxUSA. Bruce is an Allen Sunrise Rotarian and we are lucky to have him in this area to provide a timely report. Our club will make a $2,000 donation to ShelterBox, but your personal donation will also be appreciated! We belong to a global community, so please step up to help others.
