Change of Meeting Place: Going forward, McKinney Sunset Rotary Club will hold the First Thursday Sunset Rotary Club meetings, 5:30 – 6:30 PM in the Conference Room at the Yeager Building, 6401 Eldorado Parkway, (Ridge Road and Eldorado Parkway) south of the CVS Pharmacy.
Many years ago, before my knee told me it was not a good idea, I decided that I wanted to be able to run a 5k without stopping or having to walk. Day one I hardly got to the end of the street before I had to start walking. Over time I was able to run a little further each day. At the peak I was able to run 20 miles without having to walk any of it. Before my knee gave out on me, I finished over 50 half marathons and 2 full marathons. I am living proof that you can do anything if you just keep trying.
