The Community Health Clinic of Collin County will receive the contributions from the weekly baskets for this quarter.
McKinney Sunset Rotary Club collected diapers, wipes and gift cards valued at $300 for the residents of Shiloh Place, a shelter for women and their children in McKinney. Lenda Fidelman, Director of Community Service for McKinney Sunset Rotary Club, delivered the products in time for the busy holidays. Sequoyah, a Shiloh staff member for Community Relations, accepted the club’s donation.
We are also looking for suggestions for speakers for 2020, please let Bobbi, Staci, or Scott know if you have some ideas.
The McKinney Sunset Rotary Club is a satellite of McKinney Sunrise Rotary Club. If you have a “heart for service”, join us at a future meeting. The Sunset club meets on the first Thursday of each month at the Hampton Inn, 2008 N. Central Expressway, at 5:30 PM for a program, and third Thursdays for a Happy Hour at 5:30 PM at a local pub or restaurant. Stephen Barotta is the presiding Chair.
