June is Rotary Fellowship Month and Leslie Vashler will share information on how we can get involved. Rotary Fellowships are international, independently organized groups of any interested individualwho share a common hobby, recreational interest, or profession. Rotary Fellowships give their members the opportunity to have fun, make new friends around the world, and enhance their experience in Rotary.
Sunrise Rotarians and their guests are invited to our annual celebration of the past Rotary year, and installation of officers for the 2026-27 Rotary year.

Visiting Rotarian Nancy Arthur
Nancy Arthur, Past Assistant District Governor, Past President of Slidell North Shore Rotary Club in Slidell, Louisiana, Mother of Rotarian Krista Allen and long-time friend of Rotarian Bill Smith, visited McKinney Sunrise on 5/28/26 presenting us with her club flag. In true Rotarian fashion, Nancy exhibited Service Above Self and helped with flag return at the shed.
Memorial Day Flags
Our first flag holiday of 2026 came to a close with rain on return day, a makeup date to receive flags, and a mad scramble to get help at the flag shed. Thanks to everyone who come early, stayed late and adjusted schedules to complete this holiday.
