Carl Flowers - Speaker / Trainer
Carl Flowers has been educating and entertaining audiences for over 40 years, both as a corporate executive and as an independent speaker and trainer. He has spoken in 49 of the 50 United States, as well as in the Caribbean, Europe and Asia.
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Carl is a graduate of the University of Illinois / Chicago, where he majored in Speech and Mass Communications. He has lived in the Dallas, Texas area since 1983 where he was instrumental in the founding of BeautiControl Cosmetics. Over a 20-year period, as Vice-President of Sales & Communications, he helped it become one of the largest direct selling companies in America.
As a speaker/trainer for several national training organizations over a ten-year period, he has conducted over 1,400 one-day seminars on the topics of Supervision and Leadership, Communications, Business Writing and Etiquette, Financial Skills and Budgeting, Time and Project Management, Customer Service, and Working through Change. He has spoken and trained at a wide variety of corporations and organizations, including the FBI, the U.S. Senate, Exxon-Mobil, BP, Frito Lay / PepsiCo, NCIS, the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Marines, as well as numerous other corporations, educational institutions, hospitals, state and federal government agencies, and non-profit organizations.

Did you know that you can pay your dues online? Well now you can. Just follow these easy instructions.
Go to “mckinneysunriserotary.org”
Log on as a member – if you don’t have a log in, create one.
Once on as a member, look to the left side of the home page and see “Pay Club Dues”. Click here.
Select Quarterly Type Dues for either Sunrise or Sunset – you can also select the optional RI Foundation payment of $37.50.
Follow your nose and the instructions. It will take you to either PayPal or Credit Card payment.
If you need to pay more (or less) than the set amounts, go to “Other Payment” and enter the details when you “continue”

Change of Meeting Place: Going forward, McKinney Sunset Rotary Club will hold the First Thursday Sunset Rotary Club meetings, 5:30 – 6:30 PM in the Conference Room at the Yeager Building, 6401 Eldorado Parkway, (Ridge Road and Eldorado Parkway) south of the CVS Pharmacy.
