4-Way Test Speech Contest | Rotary Club ...

 Program for 4/24/24
4-Way Test Speech Contest

McKinney Sunrise will host four student participants in our annual speech contest, with the winner advancing to the Rotary District 5810 contest on 5/4/24. Each year Rotary Clubs partner with schools to offer an opportunity for high school students to develop critical thinking, ethical decision making and public speaking skills. The purpose of the 5-7 minute speech is to apply the principles of Rotary International's 4-Way Test to a current ethical issue. Students are challenged to identify a topic they feel passionate about and to adopt a point of view from which they will seek to persuade others.
