Our Rotary Club sponsored 4 MISD students to attend Camp RYLA. Join us as these students will share with our Club members their experiences while attending Camp RYLA. We will also be updated on other programs and activities that Youth Services is involved with the Interact Clubs at Boyd and McKinney North High School.

Our membership data base needs updating of member Bio-pictures. A picture taking event will be at our regular club meeting on October 31st starting at 7:15 AM. Mark your calendar.
2018 Year-end donations are welcomed by our club members to the McKinney Sunrise Foundation. You can designate the direction of the donation and is tax deductible.
The donation basket this month goes to the ShelterBox USA. And in November it will go to Wheelchair International.
The recent hurricanes and earthquakes throughout North America, Caribbean and Asia have placed a tremendous responsibility on disaster teams to provide basic services for those who have been affected. A crucial basic service is ShelterBox USA to provide temporary shelter for those who have lost their homes and everything! Please plan to attend the McKinney Sunrise Rotary Club meeting on Wednesday, October 31, to hear Bruce Heller, Board Member for ShelterBoxUSA. Bruce is an Allen Sunrise Rotarian and we are lucky to have him in this area to provide a timely report. Our club will make a $2,000 donation to ShelterBox, but your personal donation will also be appreciated!
