Join us Wednesday afternoon as we hear from Grace Powers. Grace is an Epidemiologist at the Collin County Health Department and has been with the County for over two years. She works mainly in infectious diseases; conducting surveillance and control of all 86 notifiable conditions in Texas. Grace specifically enjoys global health issues and zoonotic diseases. Grace graduated from Austin College in Sherman, Texas with an undergraduate degree in Public Health and is currently completing her Master’s in Public Health at Texas Tech University.

The McKinney Sunset Rotary Club is a satellite of McKinney Sunrise Rotary Club. If you have a “heart for service”, join us at a future meeting. The Sunset club meets on the first Thursday of each month at the Hampton Inn, 2008 N. Central Expressway, at 5:30 PM for a program, and third Thursdays for a Happy Hour at 5:30 PM at a local pub or restaurant. Stephen Barotta is the presiding Chair.
