Please make note of the following!

  1. As of September 9, Jeff Caserotti was appointed by the McKinney Sunrise Rotary Board to be the next President following the resignation of Jana Rine.  We wish Jana the best and welcome Jeff who has served two times previously as President.
  2. Thursday, September 17th starting at 6:30 PM at the Flag Shed will be the retrieval of all the Patriots Day flags.  We will need helpers too - direct traffic, collect the flag buckets, check flag routes for maintenance issues, count flags, and of course bundle and store the flags. Just an hour or more of your help would be just great.  Check-in with either Jeff or Bobbi for your assignment.
  3. The next board meeting is scheduled for Thursday September 24th.  Board meeting will begin a 6:31 at 2150 S. Central Expressway, Suite 200, McKinney and via zoom.
  4. Kristin Sholl has applied for membership in McKinney Sunset.  If anyone has any comments concerning her application please reach out to a member of the board.
  5. We are looking for suggestions for speakers for 2020, please let Bobbi, Staci, or Scott know if you have some ideas.
  6. The McKinney Sunset Rotary Club is a satellite of McKinney Sunrise Rotary Club.  If you have a “heart for service”, join us at a future meeting.  Make note of the following announcements from the Sunset club.
Change of Meeting Place:  Going forward, McKinney Sunset Rotary Club will hold the First Thursday Sunset Rotary Club meetings, 5:30 – 6:30 PM in the Conference Room at the Yeager Building, 6401 Eldorado Parkway, (Ridge Road and Eldorado Parkway) south of the CVS Pharmacy. The next McKinney Sunset Rotary Club Happy Hour will be Thursday, September 17, 5:30 PM at Foxii’s Restaurant and Patio, 301 E. Virginia, in downtown McKinney.

If you have announcements that need to be included in the bulletin, please email to Scott.  sdgrigg@hotmail.com

Several times in our lives we put off things waiting for the "right" time or for things to come together.  Truth is in some cases the "right" time will never come.  Follow your dreams, reach for your goals and take action.
