Youth Service

Areas of Service
 
Rotary believes in developing the next generation of leaders. Our programs help younger leaders build leadership skills, expand education and learn the value of service. Rotary has a long history of working with Youth, from providing scholarships, encouraging youth leadership and student exchange programs, to sponsoring youth-based service clubs. Youth Service is often referred to as New Generations Service.
 
Ways in which our club participates in Youth Service include:
 

  • Interact clubs at two local high schools, Rotary's program for youth ages 12-18

  • Rotaract at Collin College, Rotary's service club for young adults

  • Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)

  • Rotary Youth Exchange (short-term and full-year international programs)

  • College scholarships for selected graduating high school seniors
