How We Give Back
 

Build an All-Abilities Playground

The Rotary clubs of McKinney built an All-Abilities Park in Bonnie Wenk Park in 2018. They raised $530,000 for this project.
 

Provide Clean Water

Support Local Students with Scholarships

McKinney Sunrise Rotary Club has distributed over $49,000 in college scholarships over the past six years through the McKinney Education Foundation to high-achieving students in at high schools in the North Texas area

Honor a Veteran with a Flag

Join us in our inaugural McKinney Sunrise Rotary Veterans Day Fundraiser. This Veterans Day, pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served our nation. With a $50 donation, a flag will be placed in honor of your Veteran.

Your United States Veteran’s name will be proudly displayed on our Banner of Honor, showcased alongside a breathtaking field of American flags alongside Cpl RD Foster Veterans Memorial Park in McKinney. The flags will remain on display for two weeks during Veterans Day, serving as a moving symbol of gratitude and respect in our community. Flags will go out on Saturday Nov 1. Flags will be picked up Sat Nov 15. Weather permitting.

Orders received after October 20 will include a flag in honor of your Veteran, but their name will not be listed on the display banner due to print deadlines.

Another Successful Peanut Butter Drive
Another successful peanut butter drive!! 🥜  A big THANK YOU to all of our members that donated to this great cause, and special thank you to members Bill Smith and Michael Knowles for putting this effort together. In total, we donated 437 pounds of peanut butter to two local food pantries! Your generosity helps us feed families in need across our community. 🙌🙏
McKinney Sunrise Donates to Collin College
McKinney Sunrise Rotary donated $20,000 from our fundraising efforts to Collin College. This money will help cover tuitions for students of all ages attending the college, learning vocational skills and furthering their education. We appreciate all that Collin College does for our club and our community and are honored that we get to give back!
